Gw2 Necromancer Idea
I guess this could work for Ritualist or Necromancer, but I thought of a necromancer first, sence gw2 is going to be freelance and team-play they have to rework each character so that they can play solo or not. Now I've heard and read the talk on "side-kicks" and they seem complicated, so I was thinking, how can a Necromancer summon minions without bodies?! They'd have to try to kill 1 monster, get a minion and proceed on. That seems difficult, so I thought necromancer don't have to just have minions, they can summon demonic spirits/familiars (even if it kinda of a WoW thing) to help fight instead of a Minion. SO here is my drawing of a Demonic Spirit Box

LMAO.........now that we are past that (I'm not laughing at the idea just the drawing of the dude about to be pwned). Anyway I like this idea after running through half a mission or dungeon or just soloing corpses aren't really an issue but when you start off problems arise or at least that’s what I think. I like it some tweaking maybe but all round it could be good although raising minions from corpses are on of the major "realistic" points of a Necromancer it would hurt to change some things.

I'm not saying that we should get rid of the corpse and minions, I'm offering another summoning they can use to help them kill things then summon minions, or just summons these guys.

Yeah, Familiars could be the New Flesh Golem.
All Elite, You can only summon 1, and No Corpse Needed^^.

The summoning of Demonic ghosties seems more like a Ritualist ability, rather than a Necromancer's. The two could work well together, both as two indivduals (Rit summons healing spirits and support demons that aide party healing (as is now in some cases) and augment minion power, respectively) or on a secondary class basis: "Oh, a summon that makes my minions live longer? Yays!".
Nice idea, I can see Rit's dropping ashes and a demon popping out.

or...you could summon minions from live people!
hilarity ensues seeing as all of said live guy's bones and organs have left his body...

I think Rits and necro should be merged, and leave the Debuffs to the Mes.
